The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has made it mandatory for the food businesses in the country to write the 14-digit FSSAI licence or registration number on every bill from October 1, 2021. The move will help customers to access information about a particular food business on FSSAI’s portals and lodge their grievances, FSSAI said.
